14 Tiny Habits That Lead to Huge Results

Small steps, long vision.

Here's minor perspective adjustments and tips that I have found to bring me positive results. There's no magic button that is goint to figure it all out for you so its imperative to make changes and stick to with what is working.

1. Read Everyday

A wise person once said that the difference between you right now and in a year is the books you read and the people you meet. One of my goals this year is to read at least 12 books and its also a great disconnect from the world we live in today.

2. Journal once per day.

It doesn't have to be an old school pen and pad. There's a great app that my good friend Rodney put onto called Day One, it makes journaling delightfully easy and also reminds you with push notifications on your phone.

Even if its a few sentences, it is good to log where you are at mentally.

3. Eat healthy.

You are what you eat.

Very cliche but its the truth, find healthy alternatives and set a new habit. What is the point of working your ass off for your dreams if you cannot enjoy all of it because of poor health decisions.

4. Meditate and reflect.

I've been dabbling into meditation for the last few years and just incorporated into my daily schedule of at least 20 mins per day sitting in silence and listening myself breathe.

It's imperative to have the ability to sit still and reflect, much like journaling and reading

5. Never lie.

Be a wo(man) of your word.

6. Workout.

Go to the gym

Or run around your neighborhood

Do something, just move.

Much like eathing healthy, you can't live you best life if you're not able to survive a small hike.

7. See art.

Inspiration is everywhere.

Appreciate art in all forms.

Go to a museum.

Go watch watch a play.

Go listen to live music.

Go out and get inspired!

8. Manifest your goals.

Write down your goals and read them aloud every day.

Make a plan on how you are going to attain them.

Update your plan every 3 months, it'll tell you how much time needed to spend in certain areas of your life.

9. Wake up when you say you’re going to wake up.

When you set that alarm the night before, you’re promising yourself you’re going to get up at that time.

Keep that promise.

10. Read your chief aim aloud.

Stealing from Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill here: Write down whatever it is you want to build for yourself in life.

Then every morning and every night, read that aloud.

Out loud.

Hear it in your voice and in your heart.

Welcome it into the world.

11. Surround yourself with people who represent what you ultimately want to become.

To summarize what the great Jim Rhone once said, You are the average of the top five people you spend the most time with.

Sometimes you have to be audit your friends and keep some relationships from a distance, it is healthy.

12. Practice your craft.

Get better everyday. What may be a hobby today can be paying your bills in five years.

I've seen it happen to others and I've also seen others stop putting into their craft.

Dont be the guy or gal.

13. Always make time for your closest friends.

On the path to success one will lose many friends. Don't lose all of them and make time for your inner circle

14. Write down 10 ideas per day.

Carry a journal with you, or make use of the notepad on your phone and, throughout the day, jot down ideas that come to mind. There is something about writing your ideas down that makes the brain feel like the idea was acknowledged.

Do this for a couple days and you'll see. You'll be swimming in great ideas.
